Who we are

What we collect

Your email address, and your first name if you give it, when you ask for the free guide or join a waitlist. You give us this deliberately; we do not buy lists.

Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Usage data — pages viewed, roughly where you are, what device and browser you use, and how you arrived. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we collect it

To send you the guide and material you asked for. To fulfil an order. To understand which pages and advertisements work, so we do not waste money showing the wrong thing to the wrong people. And to meet our tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors, and only for the purposes above: Kit (email delivery), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (measurement), and Meta (advertising measurement, including conversion events sent from our server).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with any Norwegian school or with anyone who would market to you separately.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies to measure traffic and advertising. Where consent is required — including for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — advertising and analytics storage is denied until you agree.

Meta and Google may use this data to show you our advertisements elsewhere. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Meta ad preferences and Google My Ad Center.

How long we keep it

Email addresses stay on our list until you unsubscribe, and you can do that from the bottom of any email. Order records are kept as long as tax law requires. Analytics data expires on our providers’ standard schedules.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@rigpublishing.com and we will act within 30 days.

If you are in California, you have the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

Children

This site is aimed at parents. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Much of what we write concerns 17- and 18-year-olds, but the account and the purchase belong to the adult.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where it matters, tell the people on our list.
