Postcards from Isla · Day 25

Ok so today was definitely a food day

Ok so today was definitely a food day as you can tell… and I am so glad I got to try all of these things. The folkehøgskole doesn’t serve peanut butter (they do liver paste instead 😟) so I was missing it quite a bit. So when I bought some and had it for breakfast it really hit the spot.

It’s a free weekend so my friends and I wanted to go out into town. I NEEDED to show them the brunost ice cream spot. I got the soft serve this time and it was so so good. I got one of my other friends hooked and she agrees that we need to go back 😂.

Also tried another cafe spot, it was very touristy and busy inside but the mocha I got was superrrr good. It was like hot cocoa with a hint of coffee. It was very hard not to get a pastry as well because they looked so good 😫. But $7 for a small coffee is not cheap.

It was rainy and windy so my shoes got pretty wet which wasn’t fun but I will have to get used to it haha.

Then I tried semolina porridge (the amount of porridge types that they have here is crazy) and I was apprehensive about the texture but it proved me SO wrong. It’s probably my favorite type of porridge that I have had here so far.

Andddd the final video is me dancing because I couldn’t wait for enchiladas for dinner. You know, because I definitely did not have enough food today 😊.
